It's been a busy awards season, with Banowetz + Company being recognized in leading worldwide, regional and local competitions, claiming top honors in Communication Arts, and receiving various awards from the Dallas Society of Visual Communications (DSVC) and the American Advertising Federation Dallas. Banowetz + Company is excited to have the Surreal Splendor feature from the Fall/Winter 2018 issue of NorthPark The Magazine featured in the Communication Arts Design Annual 60! With a rich tradition of showcasing the best creative work in various fields of visual communication, the Design Annual is one of the most exclusive major design competitions in the world, with only 132 projects being selected by a jury of creative professionals out of 3,663 entries submitted. We are proud to be selected for CA and look forward to seeing the other work in the September/October 2019 issue.

The leading juried competition and awards show for creative professionals in the Southwest, the DSVC Dallas Show showcases and honors the region's top creative work in design, advertising, illustration and photography. Banowetz + Company had nine projects selected and featured at the 51st annual Dallas Show, and the B+C team claimed three coveted light bulb awards: a silver for the Style in Motion feature in the Spring/Summer 2019 issue of NorthPark The Magazine, a bronze for the cover of the Spring/Summer 2019 issue of NorthPark The Magazine and a bronze for the Surreal Splendor feature in the Fall/Winter 2018 issue of NorthPark The Magazine.

The 57th annual Dallas American Advertising Awards, commonly known as the ADDYs, is a juried competition that recognizes advertising excellence in the Dallas community. Out of 610 entries submitted, the Banowetz team once again had a strong showing and received nine awards, including one gold, five silver and three bronze, with the Fall/Winter 2018 issue of NorthPark The Magazine going on to win a bronze award at the 2019 Tenth District ADDYs.
